PageStream Tip
Hi Mike,
Both are utility programs that can be found in the libraries here or
in Amigatech. 1) Vscreen allows you to create a larger "Virtual Screen"
than your application normally makes. If you are a pagestream user, you
know the screen is normally a 640 x 400. But in order to see the whole
page, you must use the scroll bars and put up with the refresh delay while
PS redraws the screen. Vscreen eliminates this by creating a larger screen
that you can scroll around in by just moving the mouse. The whole screen
and page are allready created in memory, so no refresh delays. You can see
everything by just moving the mouse. If you scan back to the beginning of
this thread, you will see some instructions for setting this all up.
2) PopUpMenu is a utility to save some mouse moving. Normally to get to
the menus, you have to go up to the menu bar. With this program, you just
click the right mouse button any where and the menus "pop up" underneath
the mouse in a compact, quick to use format. Sub menus and sub sub menus
etc.. work just fine
Holler if you need more info,
Jim
