Barry: If you had a hard drive, you would create a directory called CGFonts, and then would assign the volume name CGFonts to that directory. On my machine, I have all of this on hard disk partition DH1, so the CGFonts directory is: DH1:PPage/CGFonts (i.e. I have all the PPage stuff in a directory called PPage, and have a subdirectory in there called CGFonts). So, in my startup-sequence, I have a line that reads: assign CGFonts: DH1:PPage/CGFonts (BTW, I also have one that reads "assign PPage: Dh1:PPage") In other words, you can either have a floppy or ram/rad/vd0 disk named CGFonts, OR you can "assign" the volume name "CGFonts" to a directory. By renaming your RAD: to CGFonts:, you are, in effect, doing the same thing. Ray Lewis
