#CDRAW Recipie Book
There has been some recent discussion on the CORELDraw manual. I think that
it's great!
As usual one itty-bitty suggestion: I think it woul dbe nice to have sort
of a recipie book – where various effects could be shown and then it would
tell you how to achive the effect — that way everybody won't have to fugre
out how to do the same things.
I think that this would bve particularily great for text effects. Shadowing
is easy, but there are some beautiful things that can be done — it takes a
lot of effort to figure out how to do them for the first time.
I use CDraw primarily for headlines and for "fixing" clip art and find it
to be wonderful.
Another pet peeve (which really ought to be fixed): poor poor quality of
small-point type – that means that you can't use CDraw to produce copy for
an ad – you've got to import into something like VP – and start genrrating
Bitstream fonts (unless, of course, you have PostScript capabilities). It's
a real pain and would really be a product improvement (I think).
