I've been using a takeoff on a Palatino with fractions and altered characters created with current fontographer, and in Quark 2.12…with no problem so far (knock on wood), BUT in one instance, the em dash completely disappeared from the font and I had to recreate it (only in the screen font). I did recieve a Fontographer upgrade earlier this week, you might try that (i believe its a freebie upgrade). Margot.
