Beth, Run the install program from your c: directory on all infected disks. Turn off your machine to clear it from memory, and be careful to boot ONLY from clean disks that are write-protected. Put VirusX4.0 in your startup sequence and run 'Install' on every disk it questions until you have all of them clean. The SCA virus does not survive a reboot if you turn off the machine; it can survive a warm reboot. This is actually one of the easier viruses to get rid of – its main trouble being that if it attacks your protected game disks, it overwrites the bootblock where protection usually is located, and then your game does not work any more. Do not run INSTALL on copy-protected disks, because it will also break them. ……Betty
