Tom, Just trying to stir things up a bit. While it is true that we have design experience, we are new to working with outside prepress (is that what we call you?), and could use some instruction from the experienced people who are commenting here. We had few problems working with the service bureau in getting the book typeset, but apparently some freelancers cause unnecessary problems, and I'm sure we all (hacks and pros) would like to avoid that. So elucidate.
