#VGA Help
Lee – Thanks for the valuable info; you might have spotted the problem. I
looked in the manuals for both the VGA board and the Perstor but am not
sure if there is a conflict. The Perstor manual states that it has an
on-board BIOS ROM addressed at C800:0. The VGA manual says it uses the
standard Reserved Memory from A000h to C3FFh, and for the HiRes modes above
VGA it uses additional Reserved Memory from C400h to C7FFh.
Is this where my problem lies? Both manuals say that if there is a
conflict, check the other for a jumper (i.e. neither has a jumper). Will I
need another type of controller?
