Hi, Greg. Welcome to AmigaForum – and to the Amiga community. You are in excellent company here! You can find Whap! in Library 16 of AmigaTech Forum. You download the demo version that is there, try it out, and once you are sold on it, you send in your $39.95 to the authors. THey will then send you an Email message that will automagically turn your demo version into a full registered version. Really neat thing there! I don't know much about games, but I do recall that there are one or two modem games in Library 4 of ARTS. Also, there is a set of TeleGames on the market. I know the author, fellow named Scott Lamb, and they are published by Software Terminal in Ft. Worth, but I suspect you can find them at your dealer's. I cannot tell you anything about the quality of them, because I've never tried them. Others will help you with the games. Did you un-archive the image you downloaded? All of our files are packed with one or another of three ARChive utilities: ARC, ZOO, or LHARC. ARC is the older, and has some problems, but many of our older files were uploaded in that format when it was the best we had. ZOO is newer and is OK, but LHARC came along recently and it packs the files to make much smaller downloads and seems to be the method of choice now. You can recognize the various ones because the last three letters of the file name tell you which is which. To get the files to unpack them with, go to Library 4 of AmigaTech. The files are ARC.EXE, ZOO.EXE, and LHARC.EXE. There is another file, ARCHLP.EXE that will teach you how to use all of these. And a member reminded me tonight that yet one more file, UNDOX.LZH makes it much easier to use all of these. Once you get it unpacked and into your c: directory, it will unpack all the various kinds for you automatically – if you have ARC, ZOO, and LHARC in your c: directory too. Please ask if you need more help. ……Betty
