John I currently have a DeskJet (not a plus) and I'm very pleased with it. I use it for stuff at home and an occasional presentation for work. Now, I'll try to answer your questions. 1) Yes, the print quality is close to laser. I think laser output is still a little bit "cleaner", especially on graphics, but the quality from the DeskJet is very good. A word of warning: don't get DeskJet output wet; the ink will run and smear quite nicely. 2) Yes, it will handle graphics. Again, I think laser output is a little better, but the DeskJet output is better than anything I've seen from a dot matrix. 3) You can download fonts to printer, but I believe you need to buy a RAM attachment for the printer. Also, I'm not aware of anyone who sells the Amiga fonts in a downloadable form. HP does sell several different fonts for the printer, but I don't have experience in using them. I use Profession Page (a desktop publishing package) which has its own fonts which are scaleable to most any size. It prints them by driving the printer in graphics mode and the resulting output is very nice. 4) Yes, I have printed things at 8 point that were quite legible. <continued>
