#CD ROM Question.

Have been monitoring the mail on this subject. Most interesting and
instructive. My desire for CD ROM is still unquenched! BUT…. would like
the means of tapping the fast growing MS/DOS number of disks. As far as the
future of Amiga CD ROM is concerned…. well… I'm still waiting for the
new chips and Workbench.
Just a thought. If I get an "interboard" for our 2000 – which permits it
to use MS/DOS, can I then stick a CD ROM drive on to it – so that I can use
MS/DOS CD's ? – or is that VERBOTEN!!! (Technically I mean). Gazing to
the sky… perhaps then I could attach a second CD ROM reader which would
play the Amiga version. Would I then have the best of the two computer
worlds.
Please keep going on this question. I am learning from the responses.
