I didn't say intolerably slower, just slower than Turbo (and I think it's
also slower than the C compilers, because it's got so many overlays). Now
I don't want anyone flaming off that the M2 compiler is overall faster than
the C compiler since the C compiler has to read all those include files:
the M2 compiler has to read all those Sym files which sometimes are big
(like Intuition.Sym) and can take a while. The next release should be much
faster, as there are no overlays. Don't get me wrong: I'de still stick to
