MiGraph & Golden Image

Can anyone give me some feedback on the MiGraph (or Golden Image – I
understand they're the same) hand scanner?
I'm looking for something to replace my Digi-View for quick B&W scans but
don't want to pay for a flat bed type scanner.
How susceptable to hand jitter is a hand scanner? Is it impossible to get
a clean scan on Monday morning? How's the software it comes with? How
compatable are the files it generates?

I've had a MiGraph hand scanner for about a year now and I can recommend
it highly. It is very easy to get a "clean" scan. There is a long roller on
the bottom that keeps you scanning in a straight line, and it is very
tolerant of speed variations. The "Touchup" software that comes with the
scanner is excellent and performs three main functions; scanning, full
feature b&w paint program, and image file conversions. It will load and
save just about every image file format you could think of. A very nice
