Greetings, I have owned PenPal for awhile but just recently had the time to sit down with it and play around. I am using an updated version I sent for. I believe it is 1.34. A few minor problems have come to light. One: I notice that on startup PP defaults to Topaz 11. Is there anyway I can change this default? I've had odd experiences trying to change fonts like the program skipping back to Topaz when I don't want it to. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong; however, the coverage of fonts in the manual is sparse to put it mildly. Two: When opening an existing file, for example an ASCII textfile from a PD download, can I specify the font I want to use before opening. I've tried this by selecting the font and then selecting "OPEN" but the program always reverts to Topaz11. Three: I created a form (great feature by the way) and printed it on my Epson RX/FT (yuck). For some reason the form is shifted all the way to the right even though on screen it looks like it fills the page. I realize there is some distortion between screen and printer. How can I make sure the form comes out centered? It fills a standard letter size page. Four: This may be a stupid question but can I use other than Amiga printer drivers? The PageStream driver for my printer is excellent. I expect that that driver is unusable with anything but PageStream, is that correct?
