InterChange is at version 1.53. The hundredths place is due to all the changes in "frozen" AmigaDOS 2.0, things that break, are fixed, break again, and not documented by CATS. 🙂 We don't have an Imagine module yet. However, the Turbo Silver module works pretty well: Imagine loads TS 3.0 objects, which we write, and Imagine objects are similar enough to TS 3.0 objects that we manage to read them well, too. They used an IFF-like format, so we're OK. Of course, we'd like to make an update to include as best as possible Imagine translation. Impulse has not sent us the file format. There's about eight bytes that they'd need to document, which could be done in ten minutes on the phone – all the rest is the same. I recommend calling Impulse and reminding them you'd like to see an InterChange module for Imagine. Lately, I know that people get very interesting answers from Impulse when they ask that… If you can upload files to any part of your campus Unix networks, I'm sure you can move objects to the Wavefronts. However, the price of our module is beyond the average student's budget. Same for our DXF module. It handles a number of entity types, but not full Release 11. For example, it handles 3DFACE commands, but not the splined meshes. It does quite well with all the older 2D commands, turning elevated and thickness'd entities into 3D polygons. We've debated the pricing of these modules. Unfortunately, the market is split: there's students and people who have casual access to AutoCAD and Wavefront, and who want to show off what the Amiga can do. Then, there's the professionals, who expect a perfect translation, lots of support, and don't mind a "high" price, because even $1000.00 would be a great deal, if it clinches a $200,000.00 job.
