Mark: For us non-Unix types (who do have a Unix box in house, hooked into a Novell net through some kind of clunky com program), could you give a run down on WHY the Amiga/Unix box is so attractive? I'd like to prepare my DP folks to think about it when it goes commercial (soon, I hope). BTW — I have a 2500/30 which purports to be able to run Unix if and when it comes out. Any info on that? Also, what about running Unix and AmigaDOS, and, do you know how or if the Bridgeboard (I have an AT at work) fits in? ?|^] Ray Lewis

Ray, welcome back! You've GOT to start attending here more often! Unix has been shipping for appr. one — 1 1/2 months. CDTV is also now shipping according to several dealers. It'll probably be in widespread availability (not including for sellouts, but first shipments) in a week or so, and will be for sale at World of Amiga. Commodore at CeBIT also SOLD A3000Ts, or tower A3000s, and (the person claimed) the UofL board was sold there. — Ethan

What kind of facinating stuff should I be expecting at World of Amiga? (Especially say compared to AmigaWorld last weekend — didn't see a UNIX box in sight there BTW).
