I have Version 1.0a of SuperJAM (dated 12/16/91) and it seems a little buggy. Is there a more recent version to which I could upgrade? Let me explain my problems: i) the Amiga sound channels frequently get trashed and nothing can be heard. Sometimes I can hear them break up and slowly fade away. Occasionally they come back, but often I just have to quit SuperJAM and restart it. ii) occasional crashes, which happen when I try to get "Info" on a style. iii) more an annoyance than a bug per se, but all the instruments play from one speaker. i.e. no stereo. I've been having fun with it, even though I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but the above problems often make me just give up in frustration. System information: A3000, 10 meg RAM including 2 meg chip. Internal 105 meg Quantum, external 88 meg Syquest (not always turned on). No MIDI equipment attached. AmigaDOS 2.04 (disk-based). Thanks for your attention. …wjas {;-O>

Dear Willie, Good news! We've updated and improved SuperJAM! The latest version is available FREE OF CHARGE to all registered users of SuperJAM! Have you sent in your registration card? If not, please do so as soon as your can. We're sending out updates weekly. Melissa

I bought it a little over 2 weeks ago from someone who decided that it wasn't quite what he wanted. The registration card was still with it and I sent it in, so you should have it by now. So, do I just sit back and wait for the upgrade to come, or should I do something like EMail you my serial number or send in the original disk? Thanks for your prompt reply! …wjas {;-O>

If you've sent in your card, you'll be receiving your free upgrade by mail. There's no need to do anything further. I think you'll be pleased with the results. Melissa

I am planning on purchasing SuperJAM if it's really music composing software for the musically handicapped…What is the newest version so I'll be sure and be up to date from the start. Also, please see my message about Bars N Pipes in this section. Thanks, Brian

The latest version of SuperJAM! is 1.0c. However, fear not… EVen if you buy an early version, just send in your registration card and we'll send you a new version. (You must have your serial number of your card. Melissa

Melissa, Seen you last night on PBS. Good to have the Amiga and it's software featured every once in awhile on Computer Chronicles.
