I've had a strange problem with Janus 2.0 and my 2000 hard-drive. This involves the Jlink procedures. When I boot up the PC and try to link to the Amiga side, everything stops on the PC. That is, there's no response to "jlink", and the PC has to be rebooted. As far as I can tell I've installed everything correctly on the hard disk, and in fact I ensure that there's no duplicate PC-related files on my DF0: disk. If I boot up from a floppy that includes the PC software but DOESN'T mount the hard drive, everything works fine; jlink, aread, awrite, etc. I've tried deleting all PC files from the hard drive, mounting the hard drive and accessing the PC from a floppy, and the problem returns… I had this problem on the old Workbench 1.2 and solved it, but I don't remember how. It cropped up again after I went to 1.3 — I've let the problem go for about a year and a half, and my local Amiga dealer doesn't use the Bridgeboard so he's no help. Sure would be nice to use all the features of the Bridgeboard. Can anyone help???/exit
