I think that you'll probably be able to get some recommendations from our
forum members re: what drives to buy. As far as getting lists of
availability and specs, I _really_ like (though it's surcharged) Ziff's
Computer Database Plus (here on CIS.) There are actually two databases;
one with the full text of reviews etc and one that lists manufacturers and
products.
