I haven't bought anything from them yet. I did have a little bit of
trouble getting information from them on the phone but I gather they are a
small organization. I doubt they could be worse than a certain,
well-advertised competitor which shall remain nameless.
How do I get in touch with CD ROM INC as well as the other nameless
company, I am looking for some good magazines on CD ROM. Please respond.
The number I have for CD ROM INC is 303-231-9373. The other company was
Bureau of Electronic Publishing, 201-857-4300. As for magazines you might
try MPC World, it has a fair amount of ads for vendors specializing in
CD-ROM but you have to be careful in reading their reviews, they deal with
multimedia in all forms and it gets a little confusing. I also bought a
copy of CD-ROMS IN PRINT last year but the industry moves too quickly for
the book to be more than a general reference. Nautilus is also a good
source of general information on new titles and it is monthly (MPC World is
only semi-monthly). If you want the names of a few more mail order houses,
let me know.
