you may be right dudette, but you can't use the full Windows API (so I'm
told). after using VB for a while I would think it would be easy to out
grow VB and then you would have to start over and learn Windows programming
all over again….at least a different approach…or do I have athletes
mouth (fingers?) ?

Yep… you gots athlete's fingers REAL BAD! <G> VB has full API
interaction, same as Quick C for Windows, my next choice. True, VB has
limitations, but then, what doesn't? <g> Remember – lots of us don't
program for a living! <gd&r>

Did you hear about the new VB Pro Toolkit? I think it's $299 but "For a
limited time, you can get for the low sum of only $99!"
Anywho… I'll think I'll spring.

Is this a MS application, or a third-party developer? Personally, I'm
looking at the MicroHelp packages, but haven't had much time.

It's from Microsoft. From what I read (in CRN), it's made up of some of the
other packages like Microhelp, Creasant Software, etc.
