I have an Amiga 2000 with a 1080 monitor that has died. Commodore told me I
need a part number on the monitor to get schematics but I can't seem to
find it. Am I stuck in having to buy anyother 1080 or do I have an options
to connect a standard VGA monitor to it? I was not impressed with
commodore's support.
I have a 1080 and its darkness between the scan lines is less difficult to
deal with than on the 1084. I much prefer the 1080. For a while I was
going to upgrade to a 1084S but when I saw the pic decided I liked my old
1080's better.
