Martin, I read a thread that you knew about a file called Targan.zip. I
have tried in vain to find that file. Would you have more specifics about
targan.zip. perhaps you could tell me where to order it. It sounds like a
program
I could use. Do you know o Thanks, Rock
It should be in the libraries on this forum. Try "what's new" or
"hardware/drivers/utilities". I don't know the libraries numbers. It's
great, highly recommended! It's for use with the targa+ boards and aapro.
If I already said that forgive me. If you can't find it I'll e-mail it to
you.
Thanks, I try those areas. Do you know of a program that will take a
seuential number of targa files and turn them into gif files without having
to do each one separtely ? Thanks Rock Richardson
I saw TARGAN.ZIP last night in the "what's new" library. With animator pro
you can do a POCO, NUMPIC, PICS to FLIC with your .tgas, then do a FLIC to
PICS and make the pics .gifs ! That's 2 quick automated processes for you
and it really works – I just tried it. (I rarely give advice without trying
it first!)
got it today and started playing with it, thanks looks like it just the
ticket Rock,
VIDEOTEX in Dallas has a program they call Chromatools that will do batch
conversions of TGA, PCX, GIF, TIF, VST, AND EPS files. It will also grab
video and display the images on a Targa board, crop, resize, spot meter and
filters. Talk to Paul Montgomery (800)888-4336. Cost is $249.
Rick
thanks I give them a call Rock,
Rock, You might try Image tools from HSC software in Santa Monica, CA. It
has a utility that converts tga's to gif's and you can control the color
reduction.
