Can anybody recommend some amiga programming books? I know there is not a
large field to choose from, but usually there is a gem out there that is not
too well known. I have read alot of the Abacus books, but they don't prove to
be too helpful. I also have been perusing the ROM manuals from Commodore. I
am mostly interested in C programming at a sub-professional level.

It's a bit sad, but the best book I've ever found is the now outdated
PROGRAMMER'S GUIDE TO THE AMIGA by the late Rob Peck. It's a real shame
that someone doesn't update that book and get it re-published. I haven't
seen anything new since 1.2, and we are now up to 3.0.
