At work whenever we install software we generally make a duplicate of the install disk and then use it to install the software. We do this to prevent the computer from writing to one of the original disks (and we started doing this at the suggestion of some of the installation manuals). So as far as a copy protection device, it is basically useless. The only protection is "Just say no!" and we all know how effective that is. Bill
