I don't think that Apple, Kodak or any other company would care to keep C= out
of any thing. If C= wants to liscense the stuff, Apple or Kodak would love to
expand their user base (not to mention royalty fees). 8)
Actually, I spoke with a guy who works for Kodak and who is an Amiga fan.
He's broached the subject internally and been told (not definitively, I
gather, but told just the same) that Kodak isn't interested. Bear in mind
that this may change if enough people agitate. I suspect it has to do with
joint ventures that Kodak, Philips, Apple, etc. have undertaken. The other
platform makers know very well that the Amiga is a potential powerhouse of
a computer in the marketplace, and, I believe, would do things like this
to keep it frozen out.
