I can't seem to get GPFax (2.21 Supra 2.12.92) to properly create faxes
from Amiga WordPerfect files processed through the GPFax.driver printer
driver. The last line of each page is always printed at the very top of
that same page. In other words, the line of text that should appear at
the bottom of Page 1 appears in the fax file at the top of Page 1.
Printing to text via WordPerfect's DOS Text Printer driver and then
converting to a fax file in GPFax seems to work fine, but costs me special
effects (bold, italics, underlines, etc.) I'd like to have.
Has anyone gotten this to work properly? If so, what settings of page
length, margins, or whatever are you using?

The main thing to remember when printing to fax is, _don't_ select
GPFax.driver in the printer setup of whatever program you're using.
Instead, have GPFax running, start your WP, go to printer select and
choose "preferences printer", using whatever name the program calls it.
Most Amiga WP programs should have a way to choose a printer driver and
have the printer you have installed under Workbench Preferences as an
option.
When GPFax is running it captures prints sent to the preferences
printer and translates them to fax. Hope this helps …

Well, Harry, you did point up one fine point I'd missed: That GPFax needs
to be running *before* starting the word processor. Unfortunately, my
results were the same: Still getting what should be the page's bottom
line at the top of the page.
The Word Perfect manual says the driver I have selected, the "Amiga
Printer" selection, uses the Preferences printer. Something else must be
going on here…
