Hi Ben? I hope I got the name right. Being a PC user I feel strange wandering around here in the heart of Amiga territory. The reason for my visit, I ordered a program from a local Amiga dealer called WinImage Morph. I was told that Black Belt is not yet shipping this program. Can you give me an idea of when it will ship? Also, am I correct that this program is a port of the morphing section of your program Imagemaster? If yes, does Black Belt have plans to port the rest of Imagemaster over to the PC in the near future? I sure hope so, I think that there are a lot more like me who are hungry for top quality graphics software at reasonable prices. Any way Thanks in advance for any reply. Ralph Marbach

Gee, Ralph – you could just get an Amiga and have ALL of Ben's neat software! The little 1200 would do it, and it's quite a little computer for its size and cost. Not that we'd try to proselytize or anything like that…….<smile> —Betty

WinImages: morph is shipping – we've been shipping it without wrappers for many weeks now, but just to end users. We got the one remaining component (the sleeves for the boxes) that we needed to get it into dealers at the very end of last week (like, 4:30 on Friday) and have been shipping our brains out ever since. So we're 100% on line now with the product and you should be able to get one from your dealer as soon as you can get them to order yours. Black Belt will not, cannot in fact, port most of Imagemaster as one program because the Windows 3.1 environment doesn't support large programs very well. When and if Windows NT reaches the end user, we might do it. The market is there, certainly – but the platform to run it on is not as yet except for OS2 and we'll probably never do anything for OS2. What we DO have plans to do is add more smaller programs to the WinImages family of software – you have WI:morph now, we'll put some other classy operations in WI:<newname> and release that. The current plan is for a family of software. Thanks for your interest. –Ben …via AutoPilot

Look, it's an IBM user! Let's get 'im! 'DOG-PILE!' No, seriously, I hope we can be of help, and feel free to drop by anytime! Just try to be forigiving to those who will try to tell you: 'It's my way (Amiga), or the Highway!' We're not all that myopic. <G> Erik Flom

Ralph, I don't worlk for Black Belt but use their Imagemaster Software and IMHO their Morphing is TOPS of all the Amiga Morph software. If Winimage Morph is the same you'll be Thrilled with it I'm sure. It's not the Fastest but it is the Easiest for ME to use and setup smooth morphs.

Not Lately but it seems you just did tell me ya like me alot. I also remember a time when I HATED IM but that was an ANCIENT Version I used at a store to get a demo of IM. Big mistake, using version 7.2 to demo software that was upto version 9.xx
