In further attempts to resolve the problem stated in the first message i have assigned Explod.axp to the flower as an object with the same results. When I turn the process "Off" the flower pattern re-appears. Is this a mapping problem? Does it matter what the original material applied is? How can I determine the type of materials and/or mapping of an object that was created by others and saved as a 3ds file? Note: the Explode Process works fine, its only the material I'm having problems with. Thanks for any help you can give. Greg Beck

PMJI, Greg, I thought that the multiple material support was only available through the v2.01a upgrade version of 3DS. Other will be able to confirm this. DOug.

Doug, Thanks for helping. You're right about v2.01 not supporting mutiple materials. I'll have to get the upgrade soon. Greg Beck
