thanks NIK, but I've tried about everything..stripped out my autoexec and
config, the memory is the same kind and speed!! Do you know of a good util to
run to check it out?
Greg, Is the motherboard on your computer a Micronics? I remember something in
InfoWorld a couple of weeks ago about adding more than 16 meg RAM and having
the machine run slower! Something about turning BIOS shadowing off to recognize
the extra RAM.

Greg, please let us know if it works out or not I have a Gateway DX266 with 16
meg RAM and am thinking of upgrading to 32 meg. It has a Micronics motherboard.
