Mike, I recently saw your review column in the latest Computer Graphics
World. I thought you did a great job! I also liked VERY much the picture that
was included of the various IPAS special effects in the outer space scene. I
was trying to reproduce some of it but I ran into some trouble with the spurt.
I'm trying to have my scene have laser blasts that do what your picture did..
Problem is, I'm getting a continuous stream instead of a pulsating laser
blast.. know what I mean?
If you could provide some info on how to do that it would be helpful. Is
it asking too much to get a copy of that .3DS file so I could study it in more
detail? Maybe? Hopefully? Pretty please? <g>

Toronto! Hey, I used to live there for 18 years. Actually, I lived
there until last year. I hear you got the worst snow storms in a long while.
Too bad, I love the snow and there's not enough of it down here in South
Carolina!

Yeah, this winter's been pretty bad for snow storms. We had a bad one in the
beginning of the season and just recently had another really bad one. Oh well,
it's only another month or so of this. I usually like the snow, but this winter
has been rough, even for me.
