Well, I am certainly no lawyer, but as I understand it the situation is that
each country must establish and enforce its own copyright laws. Then there are
all the details to do with taxes, tarifs, etc. When you think about it, it is
very similar to any major purchase like a vehicle, that is not readily bought
in one country and then taken into another.
I don't pretend to know all the details behind this and perhaps others will

Have you inquired with your dealer or Autodesk Germany what there policies for
education are?
