You should check out WinCD Professional, a real, non-shareware application,
available at most major software retial stores. For about the same
registration price as many of the shareware applications, WinCD Professional
offers much more, including a CD database which allows you to record and store
digital samples from your CDs in its database. You also have your choice
between regular display (a standard home CD player), status bar mode, and icon
mode.
WinCD Professional is easily the most complete and professional CD Player
