AAPLAY DLL Problems

I am tring to use the Autodesk Animation Player for Windows Dynamic Link Library. I have written an application written in MS C that calls the DLL and I am having some problems. 1. I have used the aaGetFile function successfully to get animation files. When I use aaGetFile with the AA_GETFILE_SOUND option, the dialog does not appear. There is a reference in the AAPLDEV.DOC file, that comes with the DLL on Compuserve, on page 7 under "prompts for file names" that talks about a limited version of the player. It further states that the limited version of the player will not present the dialog for sound files. The sound files play fine on my system, I just can't get the dialog to appear. I called Autodesk's tech suppport and they told me that there is only one version of the player. ???????? 2. When an animation is playing, I get no mouse messages in my applications message queue. I am playing animations in full screen mode and I assume that the player runs in a virtual DOS machine and that this is the reason why I am not receiving the mouse events. My goal is to use the mouse to stop playing the animation. If anyone have any suggestions on the problems above, I could use the help. If anyone from Autodesk knows some info that would help, I would love to hear from you! Thanks… .. . Steve Carll
