Sorry about the formatting of my previous message. Hi Paul and greetings from London UK… Do you have any sets of .FNT files for producing anti-aliased fonts? By this I mean different FNT files for each level of aliasing. In each font the width of any particular character has to be the same in the entire series. Get it? Here lets try a picture… Assume below that .=dark grey and are one FNT file and the #=white and are another. ########. ########## ##. .## ## ## ## ## ##. .## #########. #######. ##. ## ## ## ## If we had a few font series like this then we could have anti-aliased fonts in ANI just like we do in GRASP.

Phil, In that specific example of a "P" couldn't (dont't?) you take Paul's hint and produce the dark gray font automatically? – looking for those pixels with only two adjacent cells in the foreground color? That's what unzag does – though you might not like it's color choice. Of course the other reason for having sets of monochrome raster fonts to produce multicolor fonts is to build in 3-D effects. By the way, do you know the layout of the multicolor fonts in Deluxe Paint by Kara? Regards, Chuck Jameson Silver Tongue Software
