Listen, I hate to be the bearer of this, but the new HP550C driver does
not work right either. It works better than version 2, but not as well as
version 1. The reds are orange and the blues are sort of a striped
lavender. Sorry.

hm, that's strange. We've had several people test it and they said it's fine.
We did extensive testing with it in-house and had no problems at all. Anybody
else have problems with the new driver?
Unfortunately, we had to send our test printing back to HP so we can't try it
anymore.

Could you or Mark please check to see what happened to my Art Expression
upgrade? I know this has been out for quite awhile, but I haven't received
it. I'm working on a little project right now that would be a lot simpler
with AE. (MUCH simpler 8-).)

Dan, I personally tested the driver before we posted it. It did work fine for
me. And, I did print red, blue, and a selection of about 7 other colors, plus
a sample bit-map. All looked, and worked fine.

Sure your ink is not empty? It sounds funny, but I got 2 bug reports for
Studio's deskjet driver and both turned out to be a simple emtpy ink
cartridge… somehow funny… (but only afterwoods).
