Printing from 3ds2

Carl, I understand and share your concerns. One of the first items I acquired
as equipment last year was the HP 500C printer. Thast was after I received a
bid of $2400 for printing of cover letters, 3nd sheets, cards, envelopes etc.
I decided to buy the printer, roll my own stationery, and pocket the difference
for other needs….Still using it for that purpose, as well as for business
letters, etc.
Again, the drivers are the critical factor here…as well as the glossy paper
for prints.
I've not experienced any particular drying out of one color prematurely. My
stationery uses a predominant red color in the script.
As for prints being darker, I strongly suggest you adjust your monitor with a
test pattern for both color and grey scales. I'm sure these are available on
the forums, if not call me (312-538-8784-phone & fax) and I'll be happy to send
you a tga file I use for this purpose.

Kendall, I also have the 500C and have been happy with its service to me. I
would however like to know about the Glossy Paper.
Do you use HP's highly expensive Paper or is there a standard generic
description I could look for. I'm currently using "Main Street" Premium Copy
Paper. It's 86 Brightness 20# weight white extra smooth laser finish. They
rate it "Ultra-Bright copy paper. I've been using it for business letters
mostly but would like something different for Graphics. Any Suggestions?
