Is it possible to convert a frame inside a FLI or FLC to a GIF or targa. I lost
the orginal 3ds file and now all I have is the flick. In most cases the FLC or
FLI is only one single frame.

This is very basic in either Animator Pro or 3D Studio.
In 3DS, just have the flic as the background and render to individual GIF or
Targa files! In Ani, just call up the flic, go the the image you want, and
say PIC/SAVE/GIF.
