I just purchased from DUSTIN the Procom(Toshiba) 3401 with the Trantor 130b (What's SCSIWorks -all I got is a disk labeled ASPI-compatible SCSI Software for DOS + Musicbox). I am using a ZEOS 486 DX2 66 system. Several problems: a)Trantor drivers cannot find the CDROM unless my Turbo switch on the ZEOS is turned off. b)In win 3.1 can only read cdrom drive directory if turbo switch is off HOWEVER, even with Turbo off – anytime I try to run an app off the cdrom – it crashes me out of windows (in my case to the F: drive) and a hung system. On ZEOS forum they talk about something similar with the NEC drives and that a switch (hardware on NEC, software on the driver) must be turned off to disable "Synchronous Negotiation". Any help would be appreciated.
