>> use the one that comes with Central Point Desktop). Does this allow you to process a list of files in an automated way? Does it require that CP Desktop replace Program Manager in windows? Sounds like a neat way to go if it does. Up to now, I'd been looking at WinBatch programming to do the job of Gallery Effecting a big list of images in complex ways. Jim

I use it to process numbered Targa files. it starts at 0 and loops through to the end. CPS Desktop can be used as a temporary replacement for Win desktop; ie you can close CPS and go back to the default desktop. If your interested I'll upload a sample script. Ian.

Jim, I had a programmer/friend of mine write a routine in winbatch for doing sequential files in Gallery effects. It works quite well. if you want it drop me a line and I'll upload it. Tim Miller

PMJI Hi Tim, I would be interested in your WinBatch utility for Gallery effects. Where do you think you will be uploading it. Thanks, Bryce Whiteside CF\X Image, Inc.

I think a lot of people would be interested in that. And yes, I would love to get a look at it. Are you going to put it up in the forum area, or mail it? Thanks, Jim

Jim I'll post it in the forum area, tomorrow prob'ly, it'll be identified as a gallery effects batch file processor, or something similiar. Keep an eye out. Tim

It seems that the forum has trouble keeping room for files, and there's always a major delay before uploads are available for download. So I'll be patient. Jim

"It seems that the forum has trouble keeping room for files, and there's always a major delay before uploads are available for download." Yup, we're talking about this to see what can be done. I had to delay my upload of the new Vibrant drivers 12 hours!!!! <g> Nik

Maybe it'll just show up in your mailbox. I'll see what I can do.

>>I'll see what I can do.<< Thanks for your help on this. Have you tried the new Gallery Effects 3 yet? What are your favorite effects for batch image processing for output to video? Have you ever had problems with 'jumpiness' associated with the problem of each frame being 'watercolored' (or whatever) independently, and therefore moving the 'blotches' radically in each frame? Thanks again – Jim

>>If you're interested I'll upload a sample script. Yes, I'd be very interested. It sounds like something worth looking into, and if you've already done a script, that would get me off to a terrific start. Thanks again, Jim
