Dear Mark et al, I posted this message before but so far I haven't hit the right answer. I hope someone will be able to help. Perhaps you can steer me in the right direction. I wish to install MagicWB1.2, however I get a message that says something to the effect that I do not have "Resident" in C: directory. Resident is an internal command (which I believe means in ROM), so it is not meant to be in C:. Am I correct? Regardless, what is it I need to do to complete the job? I tried MagicWB on my old A500 with the 512K chip ram, however it was too memory hungry to use for my taste. Now I have a new A1200 with 2MB chip and 4MB fast ram, so I should be pretty well set. Am I missing something obvious in my installation? Whether unpacked to RAM: or to the SYS: I get the same result. I don't know what to do. Config: A1200, 2MBfast 4MB chip ram, 120MB HD, ext floppy, AmigaDOS 3.0. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Ken Olson

Kenneth, try the 1.2p version up here in the libraries. While it refers to resident, it doesn't specify that it has to be in any directory, so that should fix your problem. That, or edit the Install script in the MagicWB directory to change all the references from c:resident to resident. "You do trust me, don't you? Of course you do." — "To Play the King" (BBC)
