Dear INNOVAtronics,
I've tried repeatedly to get help with Gigamem. No response. I'm giving it
one more chance…
I'm running an A2000 with a GVP G-Force '040 and 18 MB RAM.
I've installed Gigamem as per the manual.
When I try to run the software, a shell opens and I get the message:
"Unsupported MC68040 configuration. Shut down all tools."
I have called your tech support number, and was asked if my CPU had an
MMU. It does. And, according to GVP Tech, it is always available.
I have run GVPInfo, and the test software showed that my MMU was not
"enabled". GVP Tech responded by saying that it is always "enabled", only
that it won't show up unless an application is currently using it. They
also said that they know of people using their CPU with Gigamem. They
could not test it themselves, however.
TO GIGAMEM USERS:
If you are using a G-Force '040, please respond to this post and tell
me how you got up and running. Does any of this sound familiar?
