At this time, we don't have an upgrade path from the 4008 to the 4098. I'm sure
there will be upgrade paths to our future products, but at this time, we
haven't set policy.
The `jumps' you see everytime the controller is accessed have more to do with
the timing signals generated by the Amiga 4000. It does nothing other than to
make the screen `flick' whenever there's disk activity. I wouldn't worry about
it too much.

I'm not worried about it, but it is quite visually distracting & I
can't very well spool an animation directly to tape while the bloody thing is
jumping.
I await the "policy" decision & release of the A4098, however I want to
be certain that this problem won't be duplicated on it.
