Need to find source for SaxonScript Pro which apparently has been discontinued. Is there an alternative PS interpreter? THANKS ddr

Dean, GO AMIGAFF and use the keywords Post, Ghostwriter, or Postscript, or just browse through AmigaUser/DTP until you find one of these. I've tried one of the versions of Post and actually used it without too much difficulty. By all accounts, Ghostwriter, (UNIX derived) is a pain to learn how to use. Also, try your local dealer for a commercial product called Pixelscript. It's no longer listed in the AC's Guide, so you may have difficulty finding it. Stuart

thanks Stuart. I took a look at Post & as far as I can tell you must save a Postscript file from your application which you then use Post to output. Is that correct. I'd reaaly prefer a program that intercepted output. I'll check around for P-Script. Tanks again ddr

Thanks Brian. I looked at Post once & it does not appear to intercept application outpiut. G-script I Dl'd too & it tells me it needs IXEMUL.library which I can't locate. Can you suggest a source? Thanks again, ddr

You could probably rig post to intercept output using the CBM cmd program to redirest serial output to a file (a pipe!) while letting post hang on the pipe waiting for the file to arrive.

Dean, I see you've got replies on POST and Ghostscript(?). I just want remind you and everyone that the same files (most likely) are available on Aminet (on the Internet…) for free (basically)! If you have a connection provider, such as mine, that only charges a quarterly fee and un-metered access time… It's alot easier to get it from the libs on CI$, via Autopilot, but cruising the Internet pays off FAST!
