A while back I read a list in one of the MAC magzines where Apple had
made mistakes and refused to do anything about them. I wish I had kept the
list, it made for interesting reading.
Also last week there was article in the paper about how PC/clone
manufactures are buying the cheapest battery they can find to supply power
to the chip(?) where the configuration file is stored. So starting this
year a lot of people are going to fire up their computers and see only a
request for the file and not have a clue as what it all means. The repair
shops are going to love this as it will be a race between the the warranty
running out or the battery. Average battery life 12 months…
