I have a 3000 with 2.1, and the Unzip I'm using doesn't crash. It's version
5.1d3, though I had one previously that also worked. The only one that crashed
was PKAZIP, which I didn't like anyway because I hate unnecessary GUIs.
Check to be sure there aren't more unzips online here. If you can't find the
current one, I'll upload it. But I'm sure it's here.

the version I have reports "Zipfile Extract v5.1d BETA 0f 22 Oct 92" when
invoked without any parameters. Does your version have a more recent date?
