Could someone give me the address of the National Geographic Survey? I believe
that is the name of the gov't agency that you can order maps from, in

The U.S.G.S. has offices all throughout the U.S.. I live outside of San
Francisco and we have one downw around Palo Alto. We can order and buy maps
there. Check your white pages and even the yellow pages under government,
Federal for a possible local listing. You don't have to order dirrectly from
the home D.C. office. Unless of course that is closest to you.
The U.S. Geological Survey does have offices in many cities, but the main map
distribution center is the Denver office:

They can supply you with a map index for any state and a listing of all the
geologic publications for any state.
