Anyone got any ideas for a nice textured soccer ball surface? I've created the pattern in Brilliance, but can't quite seem to get that "seamed" feel that makes a soccer ball realistic. Dimension makes a great sports package, but no soccer ball as a part of it.

Robert, If you find one please let me know. I'm also looking and I bought a package that didn't have that one either. I live outside the US and soccer is the biggest sport here. Edward

Will do, Edward. I'm having no problem getting the soccer pattern "look," but just can't quite seem to find a way to get that really nice seamed leather feel. Just don't want to settle for a plastic soccer ball. I'll keep you posted.

Robert, Use low diffuse values, no specularity and try a slight Fractal bumps bump map for the grain. Better yet, scan in some actual leather and use the image as the bump map. JG
