You can't install the QTW files from a hard drive: they have to be on two
floppies for its installer to work right. Put the _contents_ of the DISK1
directory on one floppy, and the contents of DISK2 on the other: if the DISK1/2
directories exist on the floppies, things won't work quite right either.

Thanks for the information. I installed the files manually using expand, and
everything is running smoothly now. It seems that QTW is using Microsoft's
setup utility to perform the installation, and I have never had trouble
installing files from the hard disk before, so I didn't think to try and copy
them to floppies.
