Dave, I have a 15 year old niece that wants to learn to program. I have been programming for over 20 years in the DOS and UNIX world, but I'm having trouble finding a simple streight forword language like BASIC or what ever to get her started. I program in C & FORTRAN. The only computer she has regular access to is a mac. I saw your book in a book store (learn C++ on the Macintosh, but I think it's too advanced for her. Do you have any suggestions ???

See Mops in the lib0 of the Forth forum (GO FORTH). It is complete and free for the downloading. It has a very well written manual included that is geared towards the beginner and expert alike. Both of my kids (now ages 10 and 13) easily learned to program with it. -Doug
