The March issue of Edge magazine has a pretty good article about 3D graphics
and game programming. It also does a very brief anecdotal comparison of 3D
Studio versus Silicon Graphics platforms. Very flattering comments re: 3D
Studio. It also quotes a price for a fully equipped 3D Studio platform (with a
"powerful" PC) at 2000 pounds. That figure seems a bit low. Either U.K. PC's
are inexpensive or 3D Studio is,
or they're wrong. I choose the latter.
